Founder/President

Aaron Farmer is a veteran real estate entrepreneur who has spent three decades building companies, challenging industry norms, and shaping the future of how consumers connect with trusted service providers.

He began his career in 1995 after earning a Marketing degree in College Station. After working as a REALTOR® across Texas, he moved to Austin and launched multiple brokerages, ultimately founding Rudder Realty, Inc. in 2016.

Aaron became nationally recognized after successfully challenging anti-competitive real estate rules in 2002—a fight that led to Congressional testimony and media coverage in outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and NPR. He later served in top leadership roles within the Austin Board of REALTORS®, including being elected President in 2016.

But the insight that changed everything came earlier, during years of working face-to-face with clients:
His strongest relationships—and best business—always came from people who shared his university community.

That affinity drove deeper trust, higher engagement, and long-lasting connections. Aaron realized this wasn’t a coincidence. It was a blueprint.
